Quitting smoking is easy, I've done it a thousand times. - Mark Twain

As I am sure you know, smoking is a highly addictive and unhealthy habit.  While you probably also know that smoking causes heart and lung disease did you also know that smokers have a much greater chance of mouth cancer than non-smokers. That's one of the things we look for in our check-ups. 

When you decide to quit smoking, a trip to have your teeth cleaned is a good first step.  A bright, clean smile may give you a better incentive not to smoke again. Brush your teeth often. People tend to crave tobacco less when they have a clean mouth.

We know that quitting smoking is hard and we want you to succeed.  There are many ways to try and quit.   You have to find the one that is right for you.
